Please be invited to a seminar focussed on the clinical case of Wolf Man as discussed by Sigmund Freud. The seminar will be hosted by Katerina Zankova.

In his discussion of the clinical case of Wolf Man, Freud “warns” us that his presentation of the case will not focus on the elements of the therapy, but rather on some key points from the childhood of the patient (mostly on a dream of the patient, from which Freud derives the s.c. “primal scene”). After his analysis with Freud, Pankejeff will continue to undergo analysis with many analysts almost all his life. To the patient’s interest in psychoanalysis corresponds the analytical community’s interest in the patient. What makes Wolf Man so intriguing? The seminar will try to examine: the peculiarities of the transference relationship, the diagnostic (structural) difficulties the case presents us with.

The seminar will be hosted online via ZOOM. Once the participants complete the registration form, a ZOOM link will be sent to them via e-mail.
